As the name suggests, this single cask expression is truly exceptional. It is the ninth edition in the limited series of single-cask releases by Macallan and is a testament to the distillery's commitment to innovation and excellence.

The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 9/2018 is a single malt whisky that has been matured in a carefully selected, first-fill European oak sherry butt. This rare and unique cask has imparted rich and complex flavors to the whisky, making it a true connoisseur's delight.

On the nose, the whisky greets you with its deep amber color and a rich, intense aroma. Notes of dried fruits, spices, and oak dance on the nose, promising a complex and indulgent experience. Upon the first sip, the whisky explodes on the palate, revealing layers of flavors that are both intense and delicate. The sherry influence is evident, with hints of raisins, figs, and dates, complemented by a spicy kick from the oak cask. The finish is long and satisfying, with a lingering sweetness and a touch of mint.

This exceptional single cask is bottled at a cask strength of 55.9% ABV, preserving its full and robust flavors. Only 510 bottles of this rare whisky have been produced, making it a truly limited edition release. Each bottle is individually numbered and presented in a beautifully crafted wooden box, making it a collector's item for whisky enthusiasts.
